Austin Jalops/Oppos HELP ME !

So as some of you may know .. the Datassun is a South Austin street ripper. My problem is I have the money to buy new parts .. I have NEW PARTS ! but I dont have a Garage , Tools , or a helping hand .. As much as my GF thinks she's helping shes best as a beer assistant and a bowl loader .. So I'm here asking my fellow car guys for a little help here ..

Some projects I need to complete -

Finding out why my blinkers wont work ..

tightening up my emergency brake

Measuring my new wheels while they are on the car so I know what fender flares to order.

I can pay anyone who can lend a hand or has a shop or has a garage or any means to work on a car with beer and smoke . because living in south austin without a garage and trying to do things in the street is a border line death wish ..

Haha bowl loader. This sounds like a blast! too bad I dont live in austin and have a garage and know how to fix any of these things.

haha dont blame your buds! Its great when you find that girl, its a small attribute but it goes a long way. Mine is a champ as well at that, always has it ready when i get home from work.

mine loads each bowl knowing its getting her closer and closer to me buying her a el Camino .. I just have to finish the Z first before we go off starting another project

I've enjoyed some of the dark chocolately beers in the past. I'm not anywhere near the beer nerd that my brother is. I've always been more of a spirits guy.

We're doing xmas the rest of the week. all the family folks that visited other branches w/ kids and whatnot are swinging through austin to hit us throughout the weekend.

Oh I'm just as busy this weekend but next weekend I dont have any plans and I really am going to have to start putting one foot in front of another if I'm going to get this LS swap done by march so I can make it to 2k14 in houston.

hahah that would be SOOO Funny. If we buy a project car together she is going to have to understand that it will be a SR20 Swapped Datsun 510. She already loves the 510 as it is so I am not too worried and in fantasy land once im done with it, it will be fast enough to go Plaid.

I guess I'm jaded by my "bad experience" with the SR motor .. but then again we were banging out 30psi all the way to work and back every day for 6 months so I guess we had it coming .. a 510 with a 4.8 GM V8 would be fucking epic ! 6 speed with enough torque to blow those little tires off like Pamela anderson blowing tommy lee ..

Hahah I thought about doin the V8 swap but I want to keep it Nissan if i do this. I saw a pretty interesting 510 that has a Nissan Titan V8 Swap which was epic

Yea that was most likely me .. Im up and down 35 often at the moment the Z is broke down in round rock due to a shitty alternator .. I could really use some help figuring out why my blinkers wont work as well as a few other things .. I've been working on getting my parts together for the LS Swap , I have my trans , clutch, harness and ecu . Just need a Motor and the Mount kit then I'll have a daily driven LS Swap old Z Car how cool is that ?!?!?! I live off south first and oltorf so I would expect I'm pretty close to you and would love some help

I saw your phone number in one of the other comments. I'll shoot you a text when I get back in town, we do live pretty close. I live on Wilson St. just off Oltorf in between 1st and Congress. I make no promises of being able to figure out your electrical gremlins but I do have a garage and tools.

Wow man you'r really close our home is off of south 6th Street and oltorf .. just west of South 1st ... Give me a call you'r more then welcome to come by and have a beer and kick it .. As far as my electrical grimlin goes .. I expect it to be my turn signal switch on the column but I could be wrong and I'm not very good with a electrical tester .. so I just got to get in there and figure it out I suppose .
